I recently learned the term “Sleep Hygiene." It has nothing to do with brushing your teeth, or bathing, prior to going to bed at night, but rather the care you take to protect your sleep in a myriad of ways. The strictest of definitions is the habits and practices you form daily, to sleep well nightly.
In my continued effort to convert our home to a non toxic and natural environment I recently came across this article, Natural versus synthetic latex, I know I digress , but my beloved husband is/was a jock. Which means we are now addressing aches, pains , pins, replaced joints and arthritis. A perfect sleeping structure for us both has been challenging. Along with his challenges I suffer with allergies. We have gone through more mattress "trials" than I care to number.
