I recently had a wonderful week with my lovely daughter whom is an HR director for an IT company. Mind you I know how hard she works, but it was a rude awaking to me that she literally sits at her computer for 8+ hours a day. This is my little girl who could not sit still . She played softball, basketball, ran track, and was in ballet all through high school and college! Rude awakening for a Mom who promotes movement through out the day! I admire and am aware that her work ethic is worthy of praise , but I was alarmed for her health. We did have a great week and many good conversations about life/work balance. It does bear repeating though for all of us , including myself!
